These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and the provision of bespoke furniture services by Howka (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Howka is a bespoke furniture maker specialising in custom-designed and handcrafted furniture.
2. Services
We provide custom furniture design and manufacturing services. All products are made to order based on customer specifications, designs, measurements, and material selections.
3. Quotes & Orders
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
An order is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received and acknowledged in writing.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all measurements, specifications, and design approvals are accurate before production begins.
4. Pricing & Payments
Prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Payments may be processed via Debit and Credit cards, or bank transfer.
We may require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due prior to delivery or installation.
Full ownership of goods remains with Howka until payment has been received in full.
5. Changes & Cancellations
Because our furniture is bespoke and made to order:
Changes may only be accepted before production begins.
Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
If a cancellation is accepted before production begins, any design or administrative fees may be deducted from the refund.
6. Lead Times & Delivery
Estimated lead times are provided at the time of order and are approximate, UK delivery only.
We are not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, couriers, or events beyond our control.
Customers must ensure delivery access is suitable for large or heavy furniture items.
7. Risk & Ownership
Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.
Ownership remains with Howka until full payment has been received.
8. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your item arrives damaged or faulty:
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery
Provide photographs and a description of the issue
We will assess and offer a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Care & Maintenance
We provide care guidance for all furniture. Normal wear and tear, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered by any warranty or remedy.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, designs, drawings, and images remain the intellectual property of Howka and may not be copied or used without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Loss of profits or business
Issues arising from incorrect customer-provided specifications
Our liability is limited to the total value of the order.
12. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
